What Will Your Program Look Like?

Your Initial Consultation & Goal Setting Session


  • We establish your Goals and what you are wanting to Achieve in working together (it’s a Team Effort!).

  • We go over your workout history, your gym experience, things that have worked well, things that have not worked well.

  • We discuss any existing medical conditions and/or injury history along with anything that may be a roadblock in your program.

  • We do a simple movement screen so I can establish an appropriate starting point for your Strength and Cardio program.

  • We start an ongoing conversation about Nutrition and Recovery about where you currently are and what direction we want to go (everyone is different!)

Your Strength & Cardio Program


  • Every part of your program is designed specifically around YOUR goals.

  • Your program will be designed based on what equipment you have access to. If you have a gym membership, awesome! If you workout at home, no problem!

  • Your program will be updated monthly. This gives you enough time to learn the movements and allows enough repetition to gain strength and build muscle without plateauing.

  • Your program is designed and stored in Google Drive, allowing you access from your phone, tablet or computer anytime, anywhere.

  • Every movement comes with a video demonstration, and within the strength portion, personalized coaching cues.

  • Your strength program provides a tracking area for your weights and repetitions. This allows us to work together and make sure that you are using appropriate weights and progressing properly.

  • Below is an example of what your Warmup, Recovery, Strength and Cardio program will look like!

Your Nutrition & Accountability


  • We will work together to build the best possible Nutrition program that work for you. I will not provide you with a meal plan that tells you what to eat and when to eat. We will use the MyFitnessPal App to log every meal which will allow us to see what you do well and what you need help with. The areas that you need help with, we will work to create small, sustainable changes that add up to big successes over time.

  • You will be given access to the private Train with Tom Facebook group. You will be a part of a growing community of like-minded people trying to improve their health and fitness. You will be able to connect with other people to share stories, motivation and successes!! The FB group will also allow us to cover in depth topics related to your program such as recipes, form for exercises and bonus workouts and challenges.

  • You’re motivated, you have a workout plan and you’re working to improve your nutrition… Now what?? You want to be held ACCOUNTABLE to following through with and CRUSHING your goals!! There is loads of Accountability build into each program with Train with Tom. Depending on which program you choose, accountability will look like this:

    • Weekly Email Checkins

    • Phone/Facetime/Zoom Checkins (whatever is most convenient for you)

    • Text Messaging with me throughout the week

    • Participation in the Train with Tom Facebook group
